The AULA Learning Management System
What is it?
See below for an overview of the features, functions and benefits included in the growing AulaLMS family of Platforms, which includes AulaAbierta, OpenAula and Aula Marketplace, each one powered by AulaLMS and each one of course also providing special features for each specific audience.
AulaAbierta
AulaAbierta has been designed for Teacher, Students and Educational Institutions, K-12 through University and Vocational Schools. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, the platform and associated sites are tailored specifically to support south American users and institutions.
OpenAula
OpenAula has been designed the same, with Teachers, Students and Educational Institutions K-12 through University level but, based in USA, specifically with a focus on providing service and support to North American and European Teachers and Students.
Aula Marketplace
The Aula Marketplace, targeted for release in the first mid-2024, will provide a central place for all Teachers to search and download ready-made courses and content. The Aula Marketplace will also allow Teachers, Trainers, Course Designers and any other content developers to upload and share their creations either for free or for a fee, the authors choice, to a worldwide audience of platform users.

Administration
All hassle is eliminated as the platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services and is fully. You can as well always back up your courses locally, for full data security. In addition, one or more of your own staff can be trained as Administrators on the platform so that you will have full control of your own system configuration.
Cloud Hosting
Aula is provided to you as a PaaS (Platform as a Service), and is hosted on Amazon Web Services, providing top quality, always on access and security. All your courses and data are installed on parallel failover servers with daily and weekly backups. Your Teachers can of course also backup their own courses for added safety.
Compatability
You will be in good company as the platform is fully compatible with Moodle, the number one most implemented Open Source LMS in the world. This means you can backup your Aula courses and install and use them on any Moodle compatible system anywhere. We provide a superior user interface, without sacrificing features.
Integration
Your AulaLMS comes with integrated Video Conferencing through Big Blue Button, and with integration for Google Drive, Docs and YouTube built in. This can as well be extended to any others that you may want. If your school is using Zoom, Microsoft 365 or other sources, we can integrate all that for you in your platform installation.*

Migration
Perhaps you are already using another Learning Management System and, if so, we will be happy to help you migrate your SCORM compliant courses. If you already use Moodle, all you need to do is backup your courses and content and restore on your Aula LMS where your teachers and students will enjoy the same power, but with a much easier user interface and our full support.

We understand that privacy is not just about keeping your data secure with our encryption while it is saved in our cloud. You own your data and you control it. We know how to build software with privacy by design as a core principle and we support compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
